Eiji Masuda is an independant film-maker originally from Tokyo, Japan now studying and creating in Olympia, Washington in the Evergreen State College's Multi-Media program.
His work is known for the combination of traditional heart and soul with unique image and composition editing incorporating various techniques utilizing multi-media computer technology that makes the film more human and interactive.
His credits include the recent showing of the short "A Spirit of A Chick" at the Olympia Film Festival.
Eiji has also published several full-length books of stories and prose in Japanese and plans on contining with projects involving cd-rom, real time video and audio on the world wide web to bridge traditional themes with modern gadgets.
Dave Olson is a global-roaming, free-lance writer, craftsmaker, designer, farm hand, educator, tour guide, performer, janitor, drummer, beach comber, wanderer and ne'er do well.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Dave has spent stretches of time from B.C.
to Key West, Holland to Micronesia, Japan to Mexico to Utah to Rhode Island
to Germany to . . . Recent sojourns have produced soon to be published
research on Hemp in Japan, Cannabis Adventures in Palau, a collection of
Haiku-ish poems, and the long awaitied printing of the adventures of Uncle
Weed, an eco-hero for the ages.
He has collaborated on several film projects,
played in some fine bands, read to smiling people and been held hostage
in New Mexico.
Now continuing to create the giggling piglet durable goods co-op, Dave hopes to bringa new model of creative capitalism to the planet with the marketing of unique, durable hempen-ware.
