The film, working-titled Asa no Michi, The Hempen Road will be comfortably hip, sorta slick, presentable, intelligent and most importantly, genuine and sincere.
Using a variety of formats, we aim to best capture each situation and scene artfully and respectfully. The film will be as much a celebration of the beauty of the North American West Coast as a chronicle of the contemporary hemp experience.

The forests, mountains, beaches, sea and people as backdrop to intelligent discourse on hemp, society and life as we know it.

Imagine if you will (or go rent the video!) David Byrne's "True Stories", surf / travel epic, "Endless Summer", the Japanese film "Tanpopo" Or remember those segments of Mr. Rogers where he goes to visit his friends shop, factory, workshop etc. (c'mon you must have seen them). Think National Geographic films like "Yukon Passage" combine that with Jim Jarmusch's "Dead Man" Have you seen those CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, for you Americans) documentaries? Life in the arctic, life with wolves kinda stuff, how about Michael Moore's real-life "Roger and Me and another intense Japanese film "Ballad of Narayama" . . well you're starting to imagine . .

And In Closing . . .
